Build it and they will come?
The basic advice from the search engines is to build a website and people will come if it is good enough. Is this really the case? Do people have websites that are largely undiscovered and therefore ranking well below where they arguably should be? Of course they do!
As the online market gets more and more competitive, it is harder and harder to get visitors to your website without good quality SEO sercives. There are numerous companies out there who are quick to take your money but not really provide the service or results and because these companies are not (and arguably cannot be) regulated, there is little that you can do. At the same time as being valuable, there is also a limited risk involved in online promotion.
