Greater Des Moines Open for Business (New)
Des Moines is open!  It's business as usual.
Community support and collaboration from city and county officials helped prevent major flooding
issues throughout Downtown Des Moines last week.

"We appreciate the dedication and hard work of all those involved with the flood preparations," said Greg Edwards, President and CEO of the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau. "Now it's time to get back to what we do best, promoting Greater Des Moines as a vibrant, affordable, safe destination."
