The Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP) is partnering with
NASA and other organizations to support amateur astronomers during the
International Year of Astronomy 2009 (IYA2009). Come to our booth to
find out how you can get your hands on free resources to celebrate IYA 2009 with
the public. Founded in 1889, the ASP, a nonprofit
organization, increases the understanding and appreciation of astronomy by
engaging scientists, educators, enthusiasts and the public to advance science
and science literacy. Learn how you can participate in the cause of improving
science literacy.
